Apple’s new iphone for 2020 has a lovely new design, impressive cameras, even better performance and now supports 5G!
These new iPhones have the ever-more powerful A14 Bionic chip, making downloads faster than ever and increasing efficiency for great battery life.
Apple have also slightly changed their appearance by bringing back the flat edges of the iphone 4, and redesigned them into the 2020 iPhone 12.

The iPhone 12 is amazing, and ticks just about all the boxes for features that anyone would want in this new iPhone. It has a lovely new design, good cameras and amazing performance. The new iPhone also comes with magsafe magnets installed in the back of the phone, so they are all compatible with the magsafe accessories and chargers from Apple.
With the iPhone 12 series Apple has reintroduced the flat sides, making for a better grip and it is a refreshing change to the design, but I have to say I do still prefer the rounded edges of the last iPhones compared the the flat ones of the 12 series, as I find the flat edges do dig into my palms and make it a bit harder to hold for extended periods of time.
The display on the iPhone 12 has 2532‑by‑1170 pixel resolution at 460 ppi, making for a big increase in the clarity of on-screen content compared to the iPhone 11’s 1792-by-898 pixel display
Apple has also updated the 12’s cameras, improving the low light ability and adding a LiDAR scanner and you can now shoot videos in dolby vision. Dolby Vision is a type of HDR encoding that goes beyond the standard HDR10 format to provide superior color depth, while ensuring a consistent visual presentation as closely aligned to the source material as possible, no matter where or how the content is viewed.
Apple has finally integrated 5G into their iPhones and Apple has really gone all out. While most phones only support one kind of 5G, Apple’s new iPhones support both sub-6GHz 5G — the nationwide 5G — in addition to much faster and shorter-range millimeter-wave 5G.

However the iPhone 12 is not perfect, as the low amount of storage on the base model and lack of a charger in the box means that you will have to pay more to get the charger. Furthermore some of the features other brands have on their phones like the fast-refresh rate on Android phones are missing on this new iPhone.
Nonetheless, the iPhone 12 is an amazing all rounder for the relatively low price, it has some wonderful features and is still one of the best phones to buy.
